And God Smiled...

So, Thursday was our last Middle School Chapel for the 08-09 school year. We had an awesome speaker that the students really enjoyed. But, that's not what I think made God smile. So, every song that we sang the kids were like, yeah, great song! Awesome! It made me smile just to know that they were enjoying the worship songs.

I went exploring yesterday with some friends. We went to some pretty little towns along Hwy 20, but some of the scenery around these towns are amazing! So, here are some pictures...enjoy! These pictures are mostly from Newhalem.

Tulip Time

Some pictures from my attempt to play tourist in Mount Vernon. Note to self, NEVER go to the tulip fields on a Sunday afternoon! :S My attempt at being artistic and not taking the typical tulip shot.

Yesterday was offically the last day of Tulip Time; so hopefully traffic in Skagit Valley will start to slow down a little. It took me FOREVER to get anywhere downtown this past weekend. I think next year, I'll just hole up in my apartment. The school year is starting to come to a close; only 31 more school days left and then it's summer. Yikes! Where did the school year go off to so fast? There is so much that I still want to get through and I'm starting to think that I'm not going to have enough time to get through it all.

The school auction was last weekend. It was cool to see all of the decorations and all of the donated items. Hopefully we raised enough money to help out with our debt reduction proejct that the school has going on.
