I have a new desk chair thanks to Bargins Gallore (the school's thrift store). It's amazing...and NO stains...even better.
I am SO thankful that tomorrow is Friday.

Venting

Americans live in a rather "free" society. Last night I was in a mall, and all of a sudden behind me I see a bunch of people (mostly middle-aged and senior citizens) release a bunch of balloons saying inmpeach the president and other political sayings that are slaming our government. After they released their balloons, they raced out of the mall.
Excuse me...but if you're going to have a "political rally" that isn't approved of by the mall office, you really MUST stick around and get arrested instead of sticking your tail between your legs and hightailing it out of there! COWARDS!!!!!
Americans live in a place where we can say and do almost anything. However, people fail to realize that there is another perspective and therefore never take it into consideration! So, if you're about to release a bunch of political propoganda, please do me this favor, and stick around to get arrested. Its the least you can do...after all, you're promised a trial by a jury of your peers. After, this is America.

I'm finished with my first week of real teaching!! Huzzah! This week has been an interesting one with ups and downs. Yesterday, I became an "offical" teacher when my name plate was put up next to my door! :) I was observed today by my principal...and I passed:). I am thankful that it is the weekend, but I LOVE teaching! :)

First Day of School!!!

My first day of school went really well!!! I am super excited about being a teacher. I really feel that God has called me to be one. Being back in Junior High is A LOT MORE FUN as a teacher than as a student! ;) Yesterday was only a half day...which was wonderful! I don't think that I could've made it an entire day. I also had a Parent Teacher Night, that could've gone better, but I love my principal and fellow faculty and staff that make me feel better about some of the mean parents that I have. Otherwise, my first day was great! Today is the first full day of school...and I'm still loving it...especially after a lot of coffee...hehe.
