Picture time =)

Well, it's been a while since I last blogged. Not a whole lot is happening here. I'm in week 4 of school, and it's going well. I'm coaching middle school volleyball once again, and loving it! We have our first game today against LaConner. I hope that we do well!
Before school started, Dale, Janelle, and the boys came out for the weekend. It was wonderful to see them! It was also my first time meeting Tate...what a sweet heart! Bennett has gotten SO BIG since the last time we were together.
















So, schools under way, and I thought that I would so you the HUGE improvement that I did to my room during the summer. I was able to get permission to paint 1 wall of my classroom, so I picked blue in order to stay with the school's colors. I think that it turned out awesome, and I just love it! =) It is a wonderful little splash of color. The kids even like it!


Well, I also thought that I would join the world of grown ups, since I'm suppose to be one...so, in order to join the world of adults, I bought a new queen size bed. My other twin mattress was about as old as dirt, and needed to be replaced.

Summers almost gone!

Where has summer gone? If you find it, please let me know!
People have been asking me what I've been doing this summer, and to tell you the truth, I dunno! Let's see, what have I done this summer?
In June I helped a family from church get their house ready to put on the market. July I had my ear surgery and my history class. August, I'm working at school like mad, and house sitting. School starts at the end of the month, and for some reason, I'm just not feeling like I'm prepared. I also find out soon if my ear surgery improved my hearing at all. I feel like it has...things seem louder to me! At the end of the month, Dale, Janelle, Bennett, and Tate are coming out to visit Grandpa and Grandma, so I'll make a super quick trip out to see them.

Tympanoplasty

So, I was told that I need to give an update on how I'm doing post-tympanoplasty.

I think that I'm doing fine...I have a second post-op appointment on Monday. I have a little plug inside my ear cannal, and I cannot wait for that to come out!

I won't know if my surgery is successful for another 5-7 weeks! :S So, it's a waiting game until school starts.

So, Thursday was our last Middle School Chapel for the 08-09 school year. We had an awesome speaker that the students really enjoyed. But, that's not what I think made God smile. So, every song that we sang the kids were like, yeah, great song! Awesome! It made me smile just to know that they were enjoying the worship songs.
